Kimreeaa Gallery is pleased to announce its first exhibition of 2025, titled <Small Paintings—My Bijou!> This exhibition features works by 23 talented artists and will be on view from February 6 to March 7. It highlights the unique charm of small-scale artworks and explores various forms of intimacy, inviting visitors on a special journey to discover their own "shining gems" within each piece. 

Small paintings bridge the physical and emotional distance between artists and viewers, offering a distinct mode of appreciation compared to larger works. While grand-scale artworks have historically commanded more attention, small paintings provide a deeper artistic experience through their delicate details and emotional resonance. These works are imbued with rich narratives and emotions, allowing viewers to connect more closely with the artist’s world. 

Creating small-scale works requires intense focus and creativity from the artist. The process of composing and completing a work within a limited space presents inherent constraints, encouraging a fresh perspective on their work. The small canvas serves not merely as a reduction in size but as a unique medium capable of conveying expansive narratives and profound themes, broadening the imagination of both the artist and the viewer.
