Overview
Yeom Ginam documents performative movements ruminating on certain experiences. In the paintings of Yeom Ginam, the textures of memory woven onto the surface appear as blurred forms, like silhouettes of light and raindrops overlapping on a misty window. The layers of lines〞the spatial and temporal arrangement of events〞often intertwin in a sequence different from the actual events. Through a repetitive process of recollection, the artist constructs and shapes the mirage-like traces of memory within the frame.
